Do I have to make an appointment for an estimate?
Yes we do require appointments. Appointments allow us to spend concentrated time looking at your vehicle, to give you the specialized attention you deserve. Estimates generally take about a half hour to hour depending on damage. Call us today to get scheduled!
How much is an estimate?
All estimates are free.
Are you open on weekends?
No, our hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30am to 5:30pm and Fri 7:30am to 12:00 noon. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
How long does it take to repair my vehicle?
This is an equation calculated by the hours and size of the Repair Order. We generate about 5 hours a day which includes dry-times and administration labor. We can calculate an original estimated date, but until we teardown the vehicle, write a blueprint and calculate parts arrival we will not have an exact date. Once we have all this information, we will call you with an accurate completion date.
What is a blueprint?
A Blueprint is the procedure that we use in teardown to write a 100% complete Repair Order. An estimator can only write what is visible in the original estimate. After all the broken parts are removed and all the damage is visible the teardown is complete. In teardown a team of technicians, parts personnel and an estimator all together review the damage and a blueprint is written.
Will my paint match?
Yes, we guaranteed your vehicles color match. We spray the highest quality of paint and use the most advanced color matching system in the automotive industry.
What kind of guarantee do you have?
All of our work is guaranteed for the life of your vehicle.
Will you use factory parts?
To help reduce the cost of rising claims we are required by the insurance companies to search for alternative parts. LKQ, Aftermarket, and Reconditioned are the alternative parts we have to use before we use OEM (Orginal Equipment Manufacture) or Factory parts. Most times, because of our size and buying power, we are able to get the OEM parts at a discount to match the alternative parts price. We also pre-fit all of our parts to assure the best fit and if it does not meet Big Sky Collision Center quality we send them back and put OEM parts on your car.
What are aftermarket parts?
The automotive aftermarket is the secondary market of the automotive industry, concerned with the manufacturing, remanufacturing, distribution, retailing, and installation of all vehicle parts, chemicals, tools, equipment and accessories for light and heavy vehicles, after the sale of the automobile by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to the consumer, which may or may not be manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer.
What does LKQ mean?
Acronym for Like Kind and Quality. Refers to a used part salvaged from another vehicle. It is inspected by the seller and re-inspected by us to assure a proper fit and excellent quality.
What is PDR?
Acronym for Paint-less Dent Removal. Sometimes, depending on the location and accessibility we can PDR minor dents without having to do any paint work. This has the potential to save considerably on the cost. If you have minor dents ask our estimators about this option.
What if my frame is bent?
“Vehicles just aren’t built like they used to be.” That’s right, they are NOT!! They are built so much better. Having frame damage isn’t as significant or troublesome as it used to be. With the huge advancements taken by car manufactures and modern repair techniques and equipment, frame damage is just another procedure.
Do you do glass replacement or chip repair?
Yes, we can install all makes and model of glass including windshields. We have a qualified glass team that specializes in glass installation and chip repair.
When can I wash my car?
Right away. We have a bake cycle booth that cures the paint immediately after it’s painted. We actually detail and wash the vehicle prior to you picking it up. So wash away. However, we would like to see a 2 month curing period before applying wax.

These guys are great! We had a very minor collision (my inexperienced niece ran over a log on the side of the road) that caused a misalignment. We wanted to get an alignment at another shop, but the shop was concerned that we may need frame repair and wouldn’t look at our car. Two guys […]

Absolutely Amazing all around service and excellent repair work. Communication between mechanics couldn’t be any easier or friendly. Front desk help is also equally amazing. They can be booked out a bit but it’s truly worth the wait to get the kind of service provided.
